So...
This is the fifth time the secretary to the UMMC's Dean has changed our meeting schedule. Prof Adeeba leads such a hectic life of running around meeting topguns in and out of the country. In a sense, I feel really bad for requesting like 5 minutes of her time. In any case, despite being such an important individual (and a prolific research academic), what I really like about her is her genuinely humble, friendly and very down-to-earth personality. In a big sense, she's like a role model I would very much like to emulate - but of course, this doesn't mean I'd be very forgiving to students who exhibit incompetency. I've made a pledge to myself to ensure that I won't let her and CERiA down.
[update]
Quite surprised to find out that Prof Adeeba co-wrote an article with a Nobel Prize Winner in the New York Times! :O She is like... my hero(ine)!
I feel like it's time to fulfill a teenage-hood dream. I'll be spending like RM10,000 (Malaysian Ringgit currency really sucks) for a 2 weeks course in making a customised guitar and receiving practical hands-on tutoring from a very well world renowned Malaysian guitar luthier, Jeffery Yong. His guitars are quite different from many others in terms of the wood he uses and designs.

(See what I mean? That is one huge sound hole!)
